Cycling in the Mecklenburg Lakeland: Northern Germany for a May getaway
Our trip to the German Mecklenburg Lake District kicked off this year's cycling season. We reached the cycling routes of the region, neighboring Poland's Western Pomerania, via a direct regional train connection from Szczecin, taking advantage of the attractive group ticket offer from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania by Deutsche Bahn. Our cycling journey was enriched by dozens of manors and palaces in Mecklenburg, scattered among the lakes of northern Germany, and we also visited the largest national park in Germany.
