The Oder-Neisse Cycle Route: biking along the border
I had been planning a trip on the Oder-Neisse cycling route for years. Yet, every time, I found myself dedicating the necessary week for the journey from the Izera Mountains to the Baltic Sea to other destinations and routes. It was only the ADFC statistics that opened my eyes, where the cycling path along the Polish-German border ranks in the top ten in popularity, alongside famous routes by the Rhine, Danube, or Moselle. What finally convinced me to go was Profi filling my pannier with ready-made soups, popular tourist pastries, and a few jars of hummus. So, I took my tent, sleeping bag, and... I returned utterly delighted.
