South Tyrol - northern Italy for a cycling holiday
South Tyrol in northern Italy is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful regions in Europe. It entices with classic Alpine views, unique panoramas of the Dolomites, mountain rivers with adjacent cycling paths, and scattered fortresses guarding the mountains. This is complemented by the incredibly practical Italian-German vibes. It was in South Tyrol that we spent one of our most picturesque cycling trips. We rode a lesser-known cycling path from Brenner to Bolzano, explored the South Tyrolean Wine Route, and finally enjoyed a European hit - the Via Claudia Augusta cycling route along the Adige River.
