Lower Saxony: the Harz Mountains and the Weser river cycling route
Our destination for this year's June cycling trip was Lower Saxony, located in northern Germany. It's the second-largest and most diverse German state. In no other region can you hike in the mountains in the morning and stroll along the sea in the evening. Living by the seaside every day, we decided to head towards the mountains of Lower Saxony - the Harz, and then explore the bicycle-rich Weser Uplands. Our journey into the Lower Saxony vibe began and concluded in the capital of Lower Saxony - Hanover.
