Saxony by bike: Dresden and the Elbe Valley
This summer was entirely different from the previous ones. Equipped with Interrail tickets, we embarked on a month-long bike-and-train journey across Europe. Our first stop was the extraordinary Dresden and the Elbe Valley in Germany's Saxony, which also encompasses the famous Meissen, majestic Moritzburg, vinous Radebeul, beery Radeberg, and picturesque Pirna. We visited all these places scattered around Dresden during our cycling trip, discovering the perfect area for a multi-day, interesting, active trip, additionally located close to Poland and easily accessible by affordable public transport.
